Notes -- 25 July 2014

• Here's another version of the schedule, with all of NC Runners links to the meets.
• Some interesting meets:  Wendy's and the WNC Carnival, of course.  At home, the upcoming Clash of the Classes and the High Country Classic, of course.  But also, back to Furman, back to Newton for the Northwestern Relays.  What's new is the freshman/sophomore race at the site of the state meet in Kernersville -- October 11.
• There are a lot of teams visiting our trails: Green Hope, Myers Park, and teams from Virginia and South Carolina.  A few photos, if you're interested.

Notes -- 22 July 2014

Watauga cross country athletes are running through the summer, including every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, at 8:00am, usually at the high school track.  In some weeks, like this one, the coaches are not there.  If you're thinking of running, show up.

The first official practices start August 4, at 6:00pm.  Physical and other forms to be completed by the first few days.

The university is holding cross country camps this week, so you'll see even more runners than usual.  There are likely to be other teams visiting the high country trails also.
