| Note: Home Course on Greenway Trails The home course start/finish was relocated from the App. State State Farm Trails to the area adjacent area of the greeenway directly behind the high school. Park at the high school and access the trails behind the stadium fieldhouse. Boone Greenway Trail - State Farm Trails (231 Complex Drive, Boone) Going west on Hwy 421 (from Winston-Salem), take a left onto Hwy 105, take a left at the first stoplight (State Farm Rd), go 1 mile to Hunting Lane (by the fire station) and take a left. The greenway trail is at the end of the parking lot behind the fire station. Races will start by the State Farm Fields,west of the softball fields. From Blowing Rock, go north on HWY 321, take a right at the first stop light in Boone (Deerfield Rd), go 0.3 miles and take a left at the 2nd stoplight (State Farm Rd). Take State Farm Rd. to Hunting Lane (by the fire station) and take a right. The greenway trail is at the end of the parking lot behind the fire station. Races will start by the State Farm Fields, west of the softball fields. Watauga High School Directions (300 Go Pioneers Drive, Boone) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ AC Reynolds High School (1 Rocket Dr, Asheville) Take I-40 West to Asheville. Take the Bat Cave exit (53A). The ramp will take you onto highway #74 towards Lake Lure. Go about 1-2 miles. Entrance to the school is on the right. Go past the school and take a left to get to the stadium. (2 hours). Alexander Central High School (223 School Dr, Taylorsville) Map (1) Take 421 east to Wilkesboro. Go south on Hy. 16 at Exit 286A. When you get to Taylorsville, Hy. 16 will go left/east, but go straight/south on Liledoun St and then left/west onto School Drive. (1 hour) (2) Take Hwy 321 south to Lenoir. Turn left onto hwy 18. Turn right onto Hwy 90 to Taylorsville. Turn left at the first stoplight coming into Taylorsville. Take a right at the next stoplight. (1 hour) Asheville High School (419 Mcdowell St, Asheville) Take I-40 to Asheville. Take the Biltmore exit. Go right. Bear left at the 2nd light. School is on the left. Take the main entrance and go up and around the school to get to the stadium. (2 hours). Buncombe County Sports Park (58 Apac Circle, Candler) Take I-40 to exit 44. Turn right off of the exit. Make your first right at the light by the McDonald’s.(Acton Circle Rd) Follow that road around behind the McDonald’s until you come to a stoplight. Turn left (Sand Hill School Rd). The entrance to the Sports Park is ½ mile on your right. (2 hours). Caldwell County Cross County Invitational/Northwestern Conference Relay (Soccer Complex, Lenoir) From Boone, take highway 321 through Blowing Rock to Lenior. Take a left at Nuway Circle (stoplight before Bo's), go approx. 0.5 miles and turn right onto Zack Forks Road which will take you to the soccer complex (on your right) and the start and finish of the race. Charlotte Catholic High School (7702 Pineville Matthews Rd, Charlotte) Take I-77 South to Charlotte. Take I-485 East. Take exit 64-A (Pineville Matthews Rd/Hwy 51 N). Travel 2 miles to Charlotte Catholic School which is on Pineville Matthews Rd. East Burke High School (3695 East Burke Boulevard, Connelly Springs) Take Hwy 321 south to Hickory. Take I-40 west. Take the Icard exit. Go down the ramp and take a left. Take the next right. Take a left at the stop sign. School is on the left. East Forsyth High School (2500 West Mountain St., Kernersville) Take Highway 421 South to Winston-Salem. Take Business I-40 East through Winston-Salem. Take the Linville Road exit. Take a right at the top of the ramp. This will take you back across I-40 and to a stop light. Take a right onto W. Mountain St. East Forsyth High School is about 1 mile on the right. The stadium is behind the school. (2 hours) Elon University (Elon, NC) Take Interstate 85/40 to Exit 140 (University Drive). From northbound 85/40, exit right and turn left. Turn right onto Boone Station Drive, and then immediately left at St. Mark's Church Road. Follow this road for 1.4 miles. Note the road's name changes to Williamson Avenue after crossing S. Church Street. You will cross railroad tracks as you enter campus. Continue through Hazzard Ave./Williamson Ave. intersection, and straight for about ½ mile into Rhodes Stadium parking lot on right. Freedom High School (511 Independence Blvd., Morganton) Take Hwy 321 south to Lenoir. Turn right onto Hwy 18 (US 64). Turn right at the first stoplight in the Morganton City limits (18 truck route, US 64 truck route), follow to Hwy 181 (N. Green Street), and turn right at the stoplight. At the first light, take a left on Independence Blvd. Freedom park and high school will be on your left (1 hour). Furman Invitational (3300 Poinsett Hwy., Greenville, SC) From Charlotte: Take I-85 South to I-385 (Greenville). Take I-385 to Exit #40A, Route 291 (Pleasantburg Drive) , and follow Route 291 on Pleasantburg Drive to 3rd signal light, turn left. Follow Route 291, 3.5 miles (7 signal lights) to US 276 North, turn right, and follow US 276 North 3.8 miles to signal light (1st light past the University entrance). Turn left on New Roe Ford Road, 0.7 miles to signal light. Turn left on White Horse Rd., 0.2 miles to Furman University Golf Course entrance on left. From Asheville: Take I-26 to US 25 (Greenville). Follow US 25 to Travelers Rest, when you exit Travelers Rest, US 25 splits into US 25 Business/US 276 and US 25 Alt. Take US 25 Alt. approximately 2.5 miles to Furman University Golf Course entrance on left. Greensboro CC Invitational (5920 Hagan Stone Park Rd, Pleasant Garden) Go east on highway 421 South towards Winston-Salem and continue on I-40 east to Greensboro. Exit on highway 421 South (Joseph Hunt Jr. Expressway) and go 7 miles to Hagan Stone Park road. Turn right at the light and go 2 miles to the park entrance on your right. Grimsley High School (801 Westover Terrace, Greensboro) Take Highway 421 south to Winston-Salem. Take I-40 east to Greensboro. Take exit 214-B Wendover Ave East. Go up the ramp and take a right. Travel about 5 miles on Wendover Avenue. Take the Westover Terrace exit. Go up the ramp and take a right. Grimsley High School is on the right. Take a right onto Campus Drive. (2.25 hours) Hickory High School (1234 3rd St., NE, Hickory) Take Hwy 321 South to Hickory. Cross the Catawba River. Turn left on Old Lenoir Road at Arby's. Turn left onto 12th Avenue NW. Go to the first stoplight and turn left onto 6th Street NW. 6th Street NW becomes 16th Avenue NW. Turn right at the 2nd stoplight onto 2nd Street NE/Hwy 127. Turn left onto 14th Avenue NE (sagebrush). School is 2 block on the right. (1 hour). Hibriten High School (550 East Boulevard, Lenoir) Travel south on Hwy #321 toward Lenoir. After entering Lenoir, turn left onto Hwy #18 (Wilkesboro Blvd.). Go three stoplights (about 2 miles) and turn right onto Arrowood Street. Go one-fourth mile and school will be on the right. McDowell High School (334 S. Main St., Marion) Take Hwy 105 south to Linville. Turn right onto hwy 181/221. Go 1 mile and turn left onto Hwy 221 to Marion. Turn right at the stoplight (McDonalds). Turn left at the 2nd light. Go up the hill and take a right at the stop sign. (1 hour). Mooresville High School (659 E. Center Ave., Mooresville) Take I-77 South. Take exit # 36. Turn left off the ramp and go back over I-77. Take a right on McLelland Ave. Take a left at the 4th stop light, Church St. Go 1 block and take a right onto Center Ave. Take a right on Magnolia. Mount Tabor High School (342 Petree Road, Winston-Salem) Take Highway 421 south to Winston-Salem. Take the Peace Haven Road exit. Go up the ramp and take a left. Stay on Peace Haven for approximately 5 miles. You will cross over Country Club, Robinhood, and Polo Roads. School is on your left. Take the 2nd entrance for the stadium. (1.75 hours) Myers Park High School (2400 Colony Road, Charlotte) Take highway 321 south to Gastonia. Take I-85 north to Charlotte. Take the Billy Graham Pkwy exit. Go right. Go across I-77, Woodlawn Road. That road changes to Runnymead. Stay on it. Take a left onto Colony Road. Go about 1/2 mile. School is on the left. (2.15 hours). Newton-Conover: Take HWY 321 to Hickory and merge onto I-40E. Take the Fairgrove Church Road exit # 128. Take a slight right onto Fairgrove Church Road/NC-1476 for 2/10 mile. Turn left onto Old St Pauls Church Road for 2/10 mile, this turns into St Pauls Church Road-travel 1.6 miles. Then turn sharp left onto Old Conover Startown HWY 2/10 miles. Turn right onto Laffon Road for 5/10 mile and Laffon Road becomes W 15th St. Go 5/10 mile to 338 W 15th st. North Mecklenburg High School: Take I-77 south to Huntersville. Take exit # 23, Huntersville. Take a left off the ramp. Take a right onto Hwy 21. Go 2 miles. Take a left onto Alexadrana. The school is on the left. ( 2 hours). Northwestern High School (Rock Hill, SC): Directions to Northwestern High School From Charlotte, NC Travel south on I-77 to exit 82B. All traffic bears right at the end of the ramp. Travel on this road (Cherry Road ) approximately 5 miles to Main Street. This will be the first traffic light after you pass District 3 Stadium ( Northwestern’s football stadium.) Turn Right onto Main Street (HWY 5) Travel approximately 2.5 miles. Northwestern High School is on the left. Providence High School: Take highway 321 south to Gastonia. Take I-85 north to Charlotte. Take the Billy Graham Parkway exit. Go right. Take I-77 south. Take the I-485 East exit. Go approximately 10 miles. Take the Providence Road exit. Turn left onto Providence Road. Take a right onto Pineville-Matthews Road (hwy 51). Providence High School will be one mile on the left. Take the first entrance and go to the back of the school. (2.5 hours). South Caldwell High School: Take Hwy 321 south toward Hickory. Go approximately 8 miles past the Lenoir Crossroads. Look for the South Caldwell High School sign. Turn right. Go 1 mile then turn left. School is straight ahead. (45 min). South Mecklenburg High School: From I-77 South Exit Tyvola Road. Turn left and travel approx. 5 miles. Turn right on Park Road travel 3-5 miles. South Meck (8900 Park Road) is on the right. Use the first entrance just before the school rock. South Mecklenburg HS from Arrowood Rd: Turn left (Courtyard by Marriott) out of the hotel and turn right at the first light onto Hebron. Go about a mile through a light at Nations Ford Rd. (Ramblewood is down that street). Turn right onto South Blvd. (Hebron ends there) where you will go through one light, taking the second light left onto Sharon Rd. West. Go through 2 lights and take the third light right onto Park Rd. South is about 1/2 mile on the right. Statesville High School: Take Highway 421 to Wilkesboro. Take the Highway 115 exit to Statesville. Stay on Highway 115 to Statesville. Once in Statesville, Highway 115 will turn into North Center Street. Go under I-40. School will be on your left. Take the last entrance (1.5 hours). St. Stephens High School: Take Hwy 321 south to Lenoir. Turn left onto hwy 18. Turn right onto Hwy 90 towards Taylorsville. Go about 14 miles on 90. Turn right onto Hwy 127 before Taylorsville. Go about 12 miles. Cross over the Catwba River. At the top of the hill, turn left onto Cloninger Mill Road. Continue on Cloninger for 1 mile to the light. Road changes name to Kool Park Rd. Go straight for two miles. Turn left onto Springs Road. Go 1/2 mile. Turn left at the light. Look for St. Stephens School signs. (1 hour 30 minutes). Taco Bell Classic. Columbia, SC (Spring Valley High School, 120 Sparkleberry Ln.) From Charlotte, take I-77 south to I-20 east (Florence). Follow I-20 east to exit 80 (Clemson Rd.). Turn left. Go left at second stoplight (Sparkleberry Lane). School is approximately 1 mile on the left. T.C. Roberson High School, Asheville, NC: Take I-40 west to Asheville. Take the Hwy 25 south exit (away from the Biltmore House). Go about 10 minutes on Hwy 25 south. You will see a McDonalds on the right. Go 1/2 mile past it. Take a right onto Springside Dr. (2 hours). Taylorsville, NC (Riverbend Park): Option 1: Go to Wilkesboro and get on Hwy 16 (Taylorsville exit). Follow 16 all the way through Taylorsville. When you get to Taylorsville you will have to take a left to stay on 16. Follow for 8 more miles. Riverbend Park will be on your left. You will pass a big Duke Power Dam on the way. Option 2: Go to Lenoir and turn left at the big crossroads (Hwy 64/18 to Wilkesboro). Turn right on Hwy 64/90. Go until you come to Hwy 16 and go towards Hickory (right). 8 miles and look for Riverbend Park on left. Tanglewood Park - NCHSAA State Championships, (4061 Clemmons Rd Clemmons, NC) Go east on US-421 towards Winston-Salem. Turn right at exit 242, Lewisville/Clemmons Rd. and go 2.8 miles to I-40, turn right to merge onto I-40W. Take exit 182 (Bermuda Run/Tanglewood) and go left on Harper Rd. Turn right at US-158, then left at Tanglewood Park Rd. Trojan Relays, Northwestern High School (2503 West Main Street, Rock Hill, SC) From Charlotte, travel south on I-77 to exit 82B. Turn right at the 6th stop light (5.3 miles) onto IBM Dr. Go to your 1st stop light and turn right onto Neal Rd. Turn left after you pass the stadium. (2 hours 15 min). OR Take Hwy 321 South to I-85 North. Go past I-77. Take the City Blvd exit. Turn left at the top of the ramp. Turn right at the stop sign. Go past the 2 schools on the right. The entrance to the stadium will be on the right. Volunteer Outdoor Track Classic (Tom Black Track at LaPorte Stadium, Univ. of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN) From I-40 west: Follow I-40 west to the James White Parkway exit and exit to the left. Follow Parkway to Neyland Drive (Tennessee Highway 153) until Thompson-Boling Arena is visible. Turn right onto Lake Loudoun Boulevard. Turn left at second stoplight. Follow Volunteer Blvd. to next light. Track on right. Wendy's Invitational (8711 Monroe Rd., Charlotte, NC) North from I-77...take Brookshire Freeway (I-277) exit east to Independence Blvd. Follow Independence Blvd. east (approx. 6 miles) until Village Lake Drive. Turn right onto Village Lake Drive. Travel on Village Lake Drive for less than a mile until it dead ends into Monroe Road. Turn left onto Monroe Road and McAlpine Creek Park will be less than a mile on your left (just before Railroad overpass). West Forsyth High School: Take Hwy 421 south to Winston-Salem. Take the Clemmons exit. Go up the ramp and take a right. Go about 1 mile. School is on the left. Take the 1st entrance. (1 hour 35 minutes). Western North Carolina Cross Country Carnival (801 Glover St., Hendersonville) Go west on I-40 to Asheville, then take I-26 East to exit 49B (highway 64W). Stay on 64 West for approximately 1.5 miles then take a left at the light (there's a Jackson Park sign by the light). Go two blocks to a T intersection, take a left to the park. Wilkes Central High School: Take Highway 421 South to Wilkesboro. Take the Highway 16 exit. Go approximately 1.5 miles. Bear right at the sign for the high school. The high school will be about 1 mile on the left.). |
