Strava Run Log Instructions

Strava:
www.strava.com

Strava is an online running log mainly geared towards cyclists and runners. You can upload runs from a GPS watch, use the Stava app on a smart phone to record runs, or input your runs manually. You can also map routes and keep track of how many miles you put on your shoes. It also keeps track of personal records and course records. It also has leader boards and the ability to comment and “give kudos” on your teammate’s runs.

IMPORTANT: Strava is part social media, part running log, however you can make it as public or private as you would like if you do not feel comfortable using social media. You can make it so only those following you can see your activities and each run has the option of being private to everyone including your followers. The only thing that will not be private is your mileage on the Group leader board. You can also set “privacy zones” for when you run from home and do not want it to show up on the map.
