The latest 5K version of the Watauga XC home course was host for this year's High Country Classic. The Pioneers girls varsity finished strong with a third place overall and were led by Anna in 16th place, followed by Emma T., Rebecca, Finley, and Emma B. scoring for Watauga. The boys varsity placed four runners in the first eleven finishers to capture the team championship. River (4th place) led the way, followed by Price, Josh, Avery, and John scoring for the Pioneers.
Kate Tuberty (4th place) led the JV girls to a second place team finish and Grant (3rd place) paced the JV boys to a third place team finish. Complete meet results are posted here.
